 The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support for individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Their main duties include skill building and support in areas of personal care, socialization, community integration, employment, health and safety, and other adaptive living skills.  


 Starting at $18/hour

Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Ability to pass criminal background and DSS registry check.

Their main duties include skill building and support in areas of personal care, socialization, community integration, employment, health and safety, and other adaptive living skills.


Starting at $19/hour

Supervisor

Bachelor's degree in a human services field plus one year of documented experience working directly with individuals who have intellectual or other developmental disabilities is preferred.

OR

Equivalent experience may be considered for 3 years of supervising DD services.


Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Ability to pass criminal background and DSS registry check.


 The Day Services Supervisor directs the delivery of community and facility-based options to support adults with developmental disabilities to lead more independent and productive lives. Responsibilities include supervision of direct support professionals and daily schedules. 


Starting at $20/hour

Bachelor's degree in a human services field plus one year of documented experience working directly with individuals who have intellectual or other developmental disabilities is preferred.

Ability to pass criminal background and DSS registry check.


The Service Manager develops and monitors person-centered services plans and coordination of services. Responsibilities include attending team meetings (initial, quarterly, annual), developing individual support plans and goals, submitting service authorizations, completing quarterly reports, and tracking and collect yearly signatures. 


Starting at $20/hour

DSP Job Responsibilities

DSP will work directly with adults to help them develop and strengthen essential life skills, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life. Individuals interested in joining our team must be patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact.


Job tasks include:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Provide personalized support and guidance to adults in developing daily living and social skills.
  • Assist individuals in goal setting and track progress toward personal and program goals.
  • Utilize ABA strategies to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collect and record data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment decisions.
  • Support participants in activities such as cooking, cleaning, and money management.
  • Foster independence by encouraging problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Promote community involvement through recreational activities and volunteer opportunities.
  • Monitor and document participants’ progress and report any concerns to the supervisor.
  • Administer medication and provide personal care as needed.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all individuals.
